Trip Log
15 years ago, I used to live through the eyes of others on the web as they visited so many interesting places in the world. I found many personal sites dedicated to world travels. My heart cried out. I wanted to travel, too! The question was, how could I do it, and even better, have someone else foot the bill?
My answer came in 2006 when I helped a classmate of mine develop a business plan for a startup we were working on at the time. In lieu of payment, he took me on a trip to Europe. Up until that point, I hadn't been out of the country. We visited Amsterdam, Paris, Prague, Zurich and Barcelona in less than a week. It was a rough but extremely rewarding journey. After that, I knew I had to get back abroad.
I travel often for work. I often spend 16-24 hours in transit for only 2-3 days in a given country. What you see here are the highlights of my trips. You don't see the jetlag, the long hours and airplane food and the cramped back from the plane. When I look back on each of these trips, I don't remember the jetlag. I don't remember the flights. I only remember the people and the good experiences.
